New Interactive Map System Launch

We're excited to announce the launch of our new interactive map system! This major update improves how maps are displayed across all books and series, making it easier than ever to explore the worlds of our novels.

What's New?

The updated map system includes several key improvements:

Enhanced Image Quality

PNG maps now display with crystal-clear text and labels
Interactive overlays make it easy to explore different regions
Consistent sizing ensures maps are displayed at the optimal size

Multi-Region Support

Books with multiple maps (like "Beyond the Midnight Sea") now have a specialized display system that lets you browse between different regions while maintaining a consistent interface.

Universal Template System

Behind the scenes, we've completely rebuilt the map display system to be more maintainable and consistent. No more special cases for different books - everything now works through a smart template system that automatically detects the right display method based on the map data.

How to Use the New Maps

Simply navigate to any book's appendix page and click on the "World Map" option. You'll be presented with either:

A single map with interactive elements (for books like "Fate's Long Shadow")
Multiple region maps with navigation (for books like "Beyond the Midnight Sea")

Click on any map to view it at full size. You can also hover over maps to see a magnifying glass icon for easy access to the full-size version.

Coming Soon

We're planning additional map enhancements in the future, including annotated versions with points of interest marked and possibly animated journey paths for key character travels.
